Joomla
A balanced open-source CMS that sits between simplicity and enterprise complexity.
Joomla occupies a useful middle ground in the CMS landscape: more structured than WordPress, lighter than an enterprise system like TYPO3. Its built-in multilingual handling, category system and access control make it a practical choice for organizations whose content model needs those capabilities without assembling them from extensions.
YCTheme develops custom Joomla templates, integrates and configures extensions, and works with teams on content architecture — defining categories, menus and workflow before implementation. Because Joomla’s extension ecosystem is smaller than WordPress’s, we put extra emphasis on choosing maintainable components and documenting why each one is in the stack.
A significant part of our Joomla work is upgrades. Major-version upgrades are the point where neglected Joomla sites usually break, so we treat them as planned engineering projects: extension compatibility audits, template migration, staged testing and a rollback path. Our Documentation section includes a dedicated upgrade planning guide developed from this practice.
